The Week Ahead for South Florida 2/19/14

We have had a busy week, but not much to report.  We have been enjoying the perfect weather and hitting the parks.  My parents have been in town and it was lovely to see my daughter with them.  One of the things we do when my parents are in town is eat!  We found some great local places this week, and we have decided that First Watch is our favorite place for breakfast!

I know my posts about how wonderful our beaches and parks are in winter are really annoying my friends and family up north.  Not to worry my friends, we will be paying for the lovely weather in sweat and sun stroke this summer!

My pick for the week is Pondhawk Nature Center & Spanish River Sports Complex

Spanish River Sports Complex in Boca Raton

Whether you are up for some time on a playground, a long or short hike, walk, skate, or bike ride.  These two natural areas and parks are across the street from each other and they are the perfect way to start or end a day!
