I hope everyone is recovering well from the Holidays! I thought that if I ran everyday over the Holidays that I could eat whatever I wanted. Well, I hate to tell you, but it’s not true, so I am trying to undo the damage now! I suppose it would have been worse had I not run, but I was still a bummed out when I weighed in!
Last weekend we went to the Winter Carnival at Patch Reef Park in Boca! What a great day! We had a nice visit with a good friend and really enjoyed the park. Watch our calendar for it next year, I have definitely spent more for less. My daughter rode rides with her $15.00 arm band until she said her stomach hurt. Now that is what I call a true carnival. The rides were all for kids, just big enough to thrill them, but small enough that my 5 (almost 6) year old rode them by herself or with friends.
This park is one of my favorites for sure, even without the carnival. It has trails, an amazing playground and a splash pad! You can read more about the park itself on my
