I can not believe it it August first already! The summer is slipping away fast and I don’t know about you, but I feel like I have so much to squeeze in before school starts! One of my goals of the summer is to get up to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. It has a been a few years since I have gone and it looks like they have some really neat things. They do all kinds of important conservation work and offer programs for adults and children. I really need to get my daughter up there before school starts! Admission is Free, but donations are excepted.

Loggerhead Marinelife Vet Tech Lab
My pick of the week of is The Junior Vet Lab at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach. Geared at children ages 5-12, the Junior Veterinary Lab accommodates up to 10 children at a time during half hour programs, taking participants from sea rescue to release. The children come to the aid of a sea turtle replica as the group learns about common injuries and illnesses that affect these endangered animals.
